Film information

Appearing in the latter part of The Living Daylights this Hercules aeroplane transports Bond, Kara Milovy, General Georgi Koskov and Necros to a Russian Airforce base in Afghanistan. As the transportation plane for Brad Whitaker’s opium smuggling operation, Bond hijacks the Hercules, and during the fight with Necros aboard the plane, he disposes of the opium overboard.

Bond faces another problem when the Hercules runs out of fuel. As there is no place to put down, Bond and Kara get into jeep and launch themselves out the rear using a parachute to slow their speed. §
